Attorney Amy J. Vigneron |

Amy Vigneron’s legal background is as diverse as it is extensive. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York College at Oswego in 1982 and her Juris Doctor Degree from Syracuse University in 1989. While at Syracuse University Ms. Vigneron served as Editor in Chief of “The Labor Lawyer,” a publication of the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law. She was also an editorial staff member of “The Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce.”

A partner at Cohen and Lombardo, P.C, Ms. Vigneron has vast experience in the areas of bankruptcy law, commercial litigation and consumer credit law. Ms. Vigneron represents purchasers, sellers, developers and lending institutions in various business and real estate transactions. In addition, she is counsel to many corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and sole proprietors, lending her expertise to her clients in achieving their business goals. Prior to joining us in 2002, she also handled cases in the area of general and special education law representing public school districts in due process hearings and in other litigation concerning special education matters. Ms. Vigneron is admitted to practice in the Courts of New York and the United States District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of New York. She is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association.

In addition to her professional memberships, Ms. Vigneron remains active in the Western New York community. She serves on the Board of Directors for both the Joan A. Male Family Support Center Agency and its Foundation and is currently the President of both. Ms. Vigneron is a former member of the Board of Directors for Working For Downtown and a former volunteer ski instructor for the Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program at Holiday Valley. She has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Kevin Guest House, and with the “Who Does What Commission” charged with investigating the status of the Erie County Public Library System.
