Attorney James J. Nash |

James J. Nash graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History and received his Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. In law school, Jim served on the Executive Board of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review which published an article by him analyzing international corporate taxation. He also won the Thomas C. Clark Appellate Competition and was a member of the school's National Moot Court Team.

Jim has practiced for a number of years and has broad litigation experience. He concentrates his practice in insurance coverage and defense matters, including premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, construction incidents and aviation accidents. He also handles complex commercial litigation and employment discrimination claims. Jim is admitted to the state bars of New York and Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of New York and the District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, the Erie County and New York State Bar Associations.

Jim lives in the Town of Hamburg with his wife, Lauren, and is a certified scuba diver, avid golfer and photographer. He serves on the Canisius High School Board of Governors and also enjoys his continuing work with the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
